I love photographing people. Whether observing people and photographing them in their natural environment, or arranging a posed family portrait sitting in our studio. Every photographic session is unique and special. From the moment we first meet to when I deliver your framed portrait photographs I want you to be thrilled with your experience.

Family photographs are a wonderful investment and a great way of preserving precious memories. A family portrait session can be taken at a favourite location, like the beach, or in our studio which is situated in the quiet rural hills of Acton Park on the eastern shore of Hobart, Tasmania.

A great time for a family portrait is during a Saturday morning. Enjoy some family time, kick a ball around, enjoy a walk together, and I’ll photograph you as you are.

Check out the different styles of portraits that we offer in our latest portrait gallery.

Your portrait session will last about an hour. We’ll head back to the studio where you will be able to make a selection from the photographs that we just shot. We have a great tire swing in the garden, so the kids will be kept busy while you look at your beautiful photographs. Once an order has been placed you’ll have your beautiful photographs within just 3 weeks!

All that’s left to do now is arrange your family portrait session.

We’re often asked how much a portrait session costs. That’s a really difficult question to give you an accurate answer to since we don’t know how many prints you may end up purchasing. However to give you a guide, we first take a deposit of $175. This is to secure your portrait session time, and it pays for the sitting if you decide not to purchase any prints at this time. We will however, deduct this deposit amount when you purchase framed prints to the value of $595 or above. Some families might be looking to buy just one or two beautiful family photographs, others like to create a feature wall in their home made up of a variety of images.

Call on 03 6248 7912 or 0402 891642 to book your session, or to ask any questions that you may have.
